2007-2008 Dr. James Hirsh Student Involvement Scholarship

The Dr. James Hirsh Student Involvement Scholarship honors the memory of the former Vice-President for Student Affairs and advisor to the Associated Student Government. Dr. Hirsh’s commitment to the furtherance of all students at Emporia State University was genuine and unwavering. This $250 scholarship is designed to honor one student annually who has made a commitment to the students of Emporia State University, one who mirrors the dedication of Dr. Hirsh, through consistent support of campus organizations, as well as the interests of all students.

To be eligible, students must have been involved in at least one recognized student organization at ESU, complete the attached application, and submit a letter of recommendation from someone familiar with the applicant’s involvement in student activities and organizations. This student must be attending ESU during the 2008-2009 academic year.
