Kansas CPA Exam Requirements

Effective July 1, 1997, an applicant for admission to the initial examination must have
successfully completed course work consisting of at least 150 semester hours, with a
concentration in accounting, at a college or university recognized by the board and the applicant is the holder of a baccalaureate or higher academic degree. 

The Uniform CPA Examination

One of the world's leading licensing examinations, the CPA Examination serves to protect
the public interest by helping to ensure that only qualified individuals become licensed as
Certified Public Accountants (CPAs).
