What is LEAD Emporia ?

LEAD Emporia is an extension of the Emporia State University LEAD program. As an elite member of LEAD Emporia you will have the opportunity to network and build relationships with the Emporia business community, learn about volunteer and service opportunities, and interact with prominent community leaders.

Selection Process

Participants for the LEAD Emporia program will be chosen through an application process. A selection committee will choose 15 students based on the following basic criteria:

•  Currently enrolled at ESU

•  Currently registered in the ESU Leadership Education And Development (LEAD) program

•  Completed at least one ESU LEAD workshop

•  Can attend all three LEAD Emporia Sessions

•  A desire, motivation and interest to learn more about the Emporia community and become more involved in the community through service, leadership roles and volunteerism.
