HUGE ACTIVITIES FAIR
This year's event was held September 2, 2009 – 10:00am to 2:00pm
Emporia State University, Pedestrian Mall & Union Square
The HUGE Activities Fair is designed to welcome all ESU students and introduce them to the many opportunities that await them through their participation in recognized student organizations, university programs, support services, academic departments, and community service organizations. This is an opportunity for you to promote organizational membership, speakers/events, and fields of study.
This event uses a carnival atmosphere to introduce students to all that ESU has to offer. Tables will be set-up for you to make a fun spot for students to visit: use decorations, have give-away items (any food must be obtained from Sodexho 341-5907), conduct drawings for prizes, or provide entertainment. The goal is to provide information in a festive format. Past Fairs have featured a Velcro Wall, popcorn and pop, inflatables, Dave the Horn Guy, goldfish and performances by Zoiks!
Due to limited availability, there will be NO CHAIRS provided. If you would like a chair, please feel free to bring your own lawn or folding chair. There will NOT be any spaces with power supply available.
If you would like to purchase lunch while on campus, many options are available in the Hornet Express or the Skyline Dining Hall. Both are located on the 1st floor of the Memorial Union.
