About the Panhellenic Association
The Panhellenic Association (PHA) is the governing body for Emporia State University's four national social sororities. PHA works with individual chapters, ESU sororites, and campus administrators to oversee the interests of the fraternity community. PHA's core purposes and functions are to:
» Serve as the voice for the sorority community.
» Serve as a body for sororities chapters to voice their opinions, concerns, etc.
» Develop, implement, and enforce policy.
» Work with the Interfraternity Council to advocate for and advance the interests of
the ESU Greek community.
» Promote and exemplify fraternal values and ideals.
In addition, PHA oversees and coordinates:
» Sorority Formal and Informal Recruitment
» PHA Intramurals
» Greek Week (along with the Interfraternity Council)
