Employment Opportunities
According to the most recent Occupational Outlook Handbook, employment opportunities in the counseling field are expected to grow significantly in the next few years. The Department of Counselor Education and Rehabilitation Programs has demonstrated throughout its history outstanding, relevant preparation of graduates, at both the M.S. and B.S. levels, for individuals interested in the counseling and rehabilitation professions. The Department fosters the development of graduates who believe in the philosophy of helping people help themselves.
If you see yourself as a caring person who would like to be involved in a highly regarded, significant helping profession, you should consider working on a degree in Counselor Education and Rehabilitation Programs or enrolling in course work and/or seminars to enhance your personal growth and skills.
