Glen Strickland

Glen Strickland has been an Associate Professor of Communication at ESU since August, 1986. Prior to arriving at ESU Glen directed national debate programs at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma and the University of Denver. Additionally, he served as News Director of radio station KOGA in Nebraska as as news, sports and director of productions at radio station KMUS in Oklahoma. Strickland did his master's work at Baylor University and Northeastern State University. He received his undergraduate degree from Northeastern State. Additionally, he received a degree in radio/television broadcasting from Signal Broadcasting in Denver, Colorado. Glen has published over eighty high school debate research books. He also has authored over a dozen articles for professional journals. He is the CEO of his own debate publishing company the (N)ational (D)ebate (T)opic Company. Glen has developed numerous courses for the Division of Communication including Principles of Radio/Television Broadcasting and Online Communication.
