Myrna Cornett-DeVito

Myrna Cornett-DeVito has been a faculty member since fall 1991. Previously she held administrative and staff positions at colleges and universities in Kansas City, Boston, Chicago, and Emporia. Myrna completed her undergraduate work in speech communication and American Studies and her master's degree all emphasized intercultural communication. Her doctoral studies focused on small group and organizational studies at the University of Kansas. She has consulted in the areas of intercultural communication, leadership and team-building and tries to travel internationally as much as possible. She has published several journal articles and a training manual in the intercultural area and has recently become involved with intercultural training for law enforcement officers. Myrna is a co-advisor for the newly-formed Speech Communication Association Student Club.
