Stephen E. Catt
Dr. Stephen E. Catt has taught at ESU since 1977. Dr. Catt completed his bachelor's degree, with a major in finance, and master's degree in speech communication at the University of Arizona. He received his MBA degree from Arizona State University and earned his Ph.D. in communication theory from Ohio University. Dr. Catt had his most recent book, Fundamentals of Management: A Framework for Excellence, published by the West Publishing Company. He teaches courses in Organizational Communication, Interviewing, Communication Training and Development, and Interpersonal Communication. At ESU, Dr. Catt has twice received the Liberal Arts and Sciences Teaching Award for excellence in teaching, and he is the recipient of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity Outstanding Faculty Member Award. His hobbies include fishing and water skiing.
