DEBATE ALUMNI INFORMATION AND PROJECTS PAGE
The team is working on several projects of interest to alumni of the program and the University. Those projects are listed below, and we hope that as we add to the Archive page, and as we collect names of those affiliated with the program, that those projects keep the tradition of Emporia State University Debate alive into the future.
DONATIONS TO THE PROGRAM
Hornet Debate always competes with the best programs in the nation at incredible odds. Northwestern University’s budget for the National Debate Tournament alone is over half our total budget. We welcome donations to the University targeted to the debate program to keep us competitive in the long run. The Pflaum Debate Scholarship Fund and the Alumni Debate Scholarship funds are two specific funds that alumni can contribute to in order to keep the program competitive.
We seek to increase our scholarship budget, and to endow the travel budget on the program in the long term. Your generous contribution keeps the program going.

Please target your contribution to the debate program to ensure we benefit from your donation. You may also visit the ESU Alumni website at:
ALUMNI CONTACT LIST/REUNION PROJECT
We also seek names and information of alumni of the team. It is our hope in the near future to hold an alumni reunion that we hope will become a tradition for the team. If you have information that you would like to share on you or any other Emporia Debate alumni, please contact Chris Loghry, Director of Debate at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is our hope to post a list of alumni so that people can make contact in the near future. Please include an email address to make contact easier.
PICTURE ARCHIVE PROJECT
Our archive page is a place where we would like to make a “living record” of the program and its history. We would love to receive old pictures of debaters, tournaments, or anything else you think would add to the rich history of Emporia State University Debate. It is our goal to keep the tradition going with pictures of the team in action now, and to see the road we have passed along the way. Please send pictures via email (we’d prefer scanned in pictures) or you can mail them to us.
