The Commencement web site was created with material provided by ESU's Registration Office, the Academic Affairs Office, and the Office of Public Affairs and Marketing. Any page you visit in this site will be included in the list of hyperlinks on the left side of the page.

Below is a site map to assist you in locating information, complete with a description of material you'll be able to find on that page.

Commencement Home Page - invitation to attend the ceremony, time of commencement, and in case of inclement weather information

Graduating Students - invitation to participate in the ceremony and information similar to the packet you should have received from the Registration Office

Before Commencement - everything you need to take care of before you cross the stage, including: mailing address, filing with ESU's Career Services, graduation fee, announcements, name change, academic apparel, honors recognition, Perkins/Stafford Loans' exit interview, fines, incompletes, extension courses, etc.

After Commencement - everything you need to handle as you start your professional career, including: transcripts, certification, graduation photo, etc.

Academic Dress - information about the tradition of wearing caps and gowns, as well as what color hoods students graduating with masters degrees will need to get from the bookstore

Families, Guests - accommodations, where to assemble, graduation photos, in case of inclement weather information
