Bachelor of Arts -- Major in Chemistry
Environmental Chemistry Emphasis

This program is designed to prepare a student for a career in the area of environmental chemistry. It provides the necessary preparation in chemistry to enable a student to perform essential laboratory analysis while broadening the base of knowledge to include course work in a related discipline (biology or earth science). (See the current undergraduate catalog for the General Education requirements for the B.A. degree. Do note that the B.A. program requires ten hours of a foreign language.) Besides the courses listed below, the student must select electives with course numbers of 300 and above to ensure that the 40-hour requirement is met.
