I was born and raised on a farm in Kansas and have lived on a farm all of my life. I really enjoy photographing the many beautiful things surrounding life on the farm: old barns, meadows and even bulidings that have seen better days. I've always taken pictures for as long as I can remember but really started to think more seriously about the images as my children grew older, joined 4-H, and started showing livestock all over the state of Kansas. Our many trips through the Flint Hills, the High Plains and the wooded areas of Eastern Kansas have informed and inspired my photography.
