Susan Brinkman is a writer, photographer, wife, and mom. She has served in various roles on the Emporia State University campus including a three-year stint as the Director of Admissions. In addition to her work in the Center, Susan loves to garden, quilt, read, and "put food by." She is actively involved in the Emporia community and serves on the Community Garden Board of Directors and is the Fall Fundraising Chair for Village Elementary PTO.

     Originally from Lenexa, Kansas, Susan arrived in Emporia in 1990. She and her husband Jason have an amazing son, Ian, and they are proud to call Emporia their home.
