The program in rehabilitation was established in 1966 and has a proud legacy of educating graduate students interested in providing rehabilitation services, counseling, and mental health related services. The program is nationally accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) since 1975. All program faculty members are nationally certified rehabilitation counselors. Rehabilitation counseling services are provided to all age groups who have rehabilitation needs; they are available in public human services programs, private practice settings; and a variety of educational and health-related settings. Our curriculum is designed for students who desire to assist individuals with physical, mental, or emotional limitations.
