The need for rehabilitation counselors continues to grow exponentially. Rehabilitation counselors have the opportunity to work with many populations, including veterans, individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, have visual impairments, substance abuse issues, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, elderly, juvenile/adult offenders, and persons with mental illness.
