8:00 – 9:00 a.m. Employer Registration: Set up & Continental Breakfast.
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Career Fair: Students browse & schedule interviews.
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Interviews: Ending interview time is at your discretion. INTERVIEWS WILL BE SCHEDULED IN 30 MINUTE INTERVALS:
Based on evaluations from recruiters and students, we will again offer open interviews and not pre-scheduled interviews through Hire-a-Hornet. Interviews will be set at 30 minutes and students will sign up for interviews at your table during the browsing fair.
Lunch: A flexible lunch will be served from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. You may leave your table to bring your lunch back to your table, or skip lunch in order to continue interviewing.
Parking: Parking on the day of the fair is available for you to utilize without a permit in Violet or Visitor parking areas located on the east side of campus. Please do not park in Orange parking areas. Parking in metered areas is optional. If you choose the meter option, the cost is .25 cents per hour. Ten hours may be obtained at digital meters for $1.25.
Early Bird Discount: $100.00 Registration received before October 1, 2016. SAVES $10 Pays for up to 2 recruiters.
Base Fee: $110.00 Registration on or after October 1, 2016. Pays for up to 2 recruiters.
Additional Recruiter Fee: $20.00 Charged for each additional recruiter beyond two.
Registration fee includes: Continental Breakfast; Lunch; Afternoon Snacks; 8 ft. table; Electrical Hookup (available to earliest registrants); Wireless Access; Tablecloth (if requested) One table is provided for every 2 recruiters. For Example: Districts that send 4 recruiters would be assigned 2 tables.
Payment of Fees:
DUE DATE: 60 days after registration or by the career fair event date, of Tuesday, November 1, 2016, whichever comes first.
Payment Accepted By: Purchase Order, Cash, Check or Credit Card. Call 620-341-5407 to pay with a credit card. Credit card payment is not available electronically through Hire-A-Hornet.
Invoice: Available in your Hire-a-Hornet Career Fair Registration account.
Refunds: No refunds will be given after October 18, 2016. No refunds will be given to organizations who pay but do not attend the day of the event.

Students are encouraged to pursue an internship in their major. Internships provide an opportunity to gain real, hands-on experience in the field and may involve relocating to work anywhere in the United States. The majority of internships are paid and many of them also offer academic credit towards a student's degree.
If your company already has an intern program in place, we would like to assist you in recruiting ESU students as interns. If you would like to develop an internship program for your company, please contact our office and we can help you design one that is tailored to fit your needs and find the best qualified interns. Things to consider when establishing an internship program include defining the specific job duties and responsibilities, the training, supervision, and evaluation of the intern, pay and benefits, as well as safety and liability issues. Internships can be full-time, part-time, summer, or long semesters - whatever best meets your needs.

It is the policy of Career Services to list positions related to employment with legitimate employers that have an official business. Due to our inability to validate jobs related to in-home care with private individuals, Career Services will no longer list jobs related to in-home care.
