HOW TO REGISTER WITH CAREER SERVICES

The mission of Career Services is to assist ESU students and alumni in acquiring, discovering, and applying knowledge responsibly and to prepare for future employment through self-assessment, career exploration, personal development, and work experience. In order to fulfill that mission, several services and programs are offered.

All students and alumni who wish to utilize Career Services are required to register via the web. There is no charge for registration and it only takes a few minutes to complete the on-line profile. Simply follow these steps:

For the First Time User:
1. Go to "Hire a Hornet".

2. Go to the bottom of the page and click "Click here to Register". You will need to know your "E" number to create your profile.

3. Create your Profile - this consists of a few sections that ask you for information. The fields with an astrisk are required, so don't omit them. This profile is for Career Services use only - it is not seen by employers. This information is used by us and the "database system" to determine your qualifications for referrals and for interviews.

NOTE: You must update your profile and resume every six months; otherwise, you will not receive referrals.
