If you are a small business owner, this workshop is for you! In this workshop you will gain an understanding of basic accounting terminology, have a working knowledge of financial statements (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow statement, etc.) and what they mean and know how to analyze your financial statements to better manage your business. Financial ratios, measurements and controls will be discussed to provide better oversight of your business. We will also discuss how to calculate Mark-up vs. Margin, how they are different, and how each affects your profitability. Plan to attend "Understanding Financials" in Marion on Wednesday, May 22, presented by the Butler Community College Kansas Small Business Development Outreach Center. The fee for this class is $25.
