We will be playing Lady Gaga's "Born this way" beginning at 8:00am until we hit our $300 goal. We will be giving 50% of the money back to the Student Foundation, Hornet Nation.

We will be having a pizza party to celebrate, announce the new executive board and officers, and have an open forum discussion on what to improve and see for next year. Pastor Dave Hintz from Flint Hills Christian Church will be joining us on Wednesday April 24th to lead us through this endeavor. We hope this be an enlightening evening filled with good fellowship and discussion as we seek God's truth through His inspired Word, the Bible. Emporia State University Newman Division of Nursing along with Emporia Fitness and ESU American College of Sports Medicine student organization is hosting the 2nd Annual Dog-N-Jog 5K run/2 mile walk to promote healthy activities for both owners and their dogs. Don't have a dog? Don't worry, all are welcome to participate. Early or on-site registration is $10 with or without a dog. Registration forms can be picked up at the following locations: Emporia Fitness, Emporia Recreation Center, Genesis Health Club and ESU HPER Building. T-shirts ($15.00) can be pre-ordered by April 8, 2013 or can be purchased on race day (limited quantity and size).

Join SOS Advocacy From ESU (SAFE) for a movie night and discussion. Bring a drink, snack, and friend with you as we plan on showing TED Talks and “Who the (Bleep!) Did I Marry?”. Discussion will include a focus on the DC Sniper and the growth of one of the victims.
This event is a great way to learn about domestic violence and the trap that an abusive relationship can create.

16th Annual Super Custom Car Show will be held Sunday, April 28, 2003! It will be located on the 10th and 11th blocks of Commercial St. There are many different categories being judged this year; Antique, Classic, Domestic, Corvette, Street Rod, Hot Rod, Low Rider, Muscle Car, Imports, Camaro, Trucks, SUV, Under Construction & Miscellaneous. There will also be judging for Best Paint, Graphics, Interior, Club Participation, & Sound off Stereo. The entrance fee for each category is $20.
There will be plenty of family entertainment provided as well including Zumba performances, Mexican dance groups Raices Hispana Folkloris Dancers, live music, and Clint Bowyer's stock car will be making an appearance. No Admission Charge! Through out the day tickets can be purchased to be entered in drawings to win more than $700 worth of items!
Proceeds will go to the ESU General Academic Scholarship Fund & ESU Karate Club.
