Internship Opportunity!

Trainer Communications plans to hire two interns from the founder’s alma mater, Emporia State University, to enhance and increase the agency’s visibility through an annual strategic marketing and PR initiative Trainer calls the media “Shark Tank.”

Any non-perishable items will be collected at an informational table which will be set up all week from 11am to 1pm on Mainstreet of the Memorial Union. The Center for Student Involvement will also be accepting these items during open hours. 

All items donated will be taken to the local Salvation Army to help fight hunger.  Information regarding local and world hunger will be distributed at the table. 

Stop by our table to donate and pick up a life-saver candy.

The Office of International Education is hosting this year's International Tea Party!

Stop by the Union Mainstreet to sip on some hot and iced teas from around the club free of charge! HALO, Suadi Club, and many other international organizations will be giving out samples of teas from their corner of the world.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity Education Committee will be hosting the 2013 Icebox. The Icebox is an elegant evening of fun that displays the arts of Neo Soul and R&B sounds. Included in this evening, there will be spoken word artist to display their words of art.

Wheat State Pizza is helping LAMBDA PI ETA raise much-needed fund to send communication majors to Central State Communication Association Annual Convention.

Emporia State University Glass Guild would like to invite you to the 2013 Glass Blowout featuring visiting artist Ross Richmond. Ross will be demonstrating from 9:00 to 12:30. Demos will resume at 1:30 and continue until 5:00. From 5:30 to 6:30 there will be a barbecue and live music provided by the ESU Glass Guild followed by our annual live auction at 7:00. The auction is a great opportunity to purchase artwork from past visiting artists and help support the Glass Guild. Feel free to invite your friends the event is open to the public. Thanks!

Sakura Choir has became a very diverse group: we have Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and American students. We are performing repertoire representing these various cultures. 

This semester, our stage is the Emporia Arts Center! We will bring sprits of international students into the Emporia community.
