Business Administration provides the student with a broad preparation in business including accounting, business law, economics, finance, information systems, management, and marketing. This major produces a business generalist with the flexibility to gain entry-level employment in corporations, small businesses, and government.
In your degree program at Emporia State, you will take classes in accounting, computer information systems, economics, finance, international business, management, and marketing. This program of study gives a general background in many areas of business administration to prepare you for a variety of jobs.
In addition to your academic studies, you will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by participating in an internship coordinated through the School of Business. Emporia State's business internship program has an excellent relationship with businesses throughout the state that help students benefit from the experiences they receive in a work setting.
