In addition to your academic studies, you will have a chance to gain on-the-job experience through two programs offered by the University.
The Cooperative Education program places you in a position related to your marketing major. You not only gain valuable hands-on experience, but also receive credit toward your degree and earn money for your education. Positions are available in Emporia and surrounding areas.
You may want to participate in an internship coordinated through the School of Business. Emporia State's business internship program has an excellent relationship with business throughout the state. Either program may provide avenues to permanent employment.
