Q. Do I need to come to campus?

A. No, one of the benefits of distance learning is that you can stay at home and do the coursework.

Q. What does it cost to take an online class?

A. Tuition and fees vary from year to year.  For a 1 credit hour graduate-level class, the tuition and online technology fees for FY 2007 are $243 for a Kansas resident and $315 for a non-Kansas resident.

Q. Will I ever hear from the instructor? Do I just work alone?

A. Instructors will communicate with you frequently by email. Additionally,
many courses have teamwork assignments so that you get acquainted with
other students and learn from them.

Q. How do I turn in my assignments?

A. Assignments are usually turned in via e-mail or by attaching a file to the Assignments section of the online course.

Q. How long do I have to complete the degree?

A. A maximum of 7 years. However, all required courses and enough electives are offered to complete the degree in 2 years.
