Accounting Concentration


The School of Business also offers an accounting concentration for the MBA. Students in this concentration often choose to take the CPA exam.

In addition to background requirements (A) - (G) listed under business prerequisites, MBA Accounting Concentration students must have a background in the following areas prior to enrolling in the accounting courses for which the background is necessary.

  1. Intermediate Financial Accounting
  2. Cost Accounting
  3. Income Taxation
  4. Auditing
Some or all of the background requirements may be met through academic credit or professional experience.
