"Going to work for a large company is like getting on a train. Are you going sixty miles an hour or is the train going sixty miles an hour and you're just sitting still?"

School of Business - Emporia State University

ESU Courses at MLC

Each semester (fall, spring, summer) ESU offers a variety of courses in the Johnson County area. Courses are offered in the following subject areas:

  • Accounting
  • Business Law
  • Business Statistics
  • Information Systems
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Management
  • Marketing

The courses needed to meet the requirements for majors in Business Administration, Accounting, and Management are offered on a rotation that allows part-time students to complete the degree by taking evening and online classes.

Students in this program must complete the same requirements as students on the ESU campus. These requirements (residency, competency exams, degree contracts, etc.) can all be completed at the MLC. Students are not required to come to Emporia to complete any course or administrative process.

Students in this program also are entitled to use ESU's Career Services Office. Students may be entitled to financial aid through ESU's Financial Aid Office.
