SAP University Alliance

ESU is a member of the SAP University Alliance program. SAP is the hallmark enterprise application software that helps companies of all sizes run better. To put it simply, SAP empowers people and organizations to work together more efficiently and use business technological insight more effectively to stay ahead of the competition. SAP does this by extending the availability of software across technological platforms. ESU’s information technology students are highly marketable because of this powerful business program.

Students completing three approved courses will be awarded a SAP University Alliance certificate.

TERP 10 Certification

TERP 10 is an intense 10 day course that covers the integration of business processes in SAP ERP. At the end of the course, students take certification exam. Students who pass are considered to be a "SAP Certified Associate."

In 2012 ESU achieved a total pass rate of 80 percent for the course.

The latest syllabus can be found on the IS syllabi page (IS 805).

ERPsim Competition

In the annual ERPsim competition, teams operate a virtual business over four simulated quarters. They use SAP software to solve enterprise problems in a company, such as sending and receiving orders and delivering products. In the simulation, the sales process is automated, so every firm receives a large number of orders each quarter. The students use SAP to analyze the transactions and make lucrative business decisions. The team with the highest net income, or profit, wins.

The competition is sponsored by HEC Montreal.
