What is CIE? The Center for Insurance Education (CIE) at Emporia State University is a resource center for Kansas high school, technical school, and vocational school teachers who teach insurance  as a curriculum unit or as lessons integrated into other courses. Teaching resources are provided by the Kansas insurance industry and by other insurance companies and insurance educational organizations outside of Kansas.
Resources Insurance Resource Materials For The High School Teacher
Workshop The Center conducts an Insurance Workshop each June for about 35 Kansas high school teachers of insurance in Consumer and Family Sciences, Social Studies, Driver Training, Business, and other curriculum areas. The Workshop is underwritten by the Kansas Insurance Education Foundation (KIEF). KIEF is composed of a group of Kansas insurance companies and agents, who believe that insurance education for high school students results in better insurance consumers.
