REAT - Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship at Emporia State University is still in an early growth stage. Four areas of interest are our current focus:

  1. Building an entrepreneurial community: led by our “Innovation and Entrepreneurship are Everybody's Business” speaker series which is held each semester.
  2. Entrepreneurship Education as a Lifelong Learning process: we are taking an inventory of entrepreneurship education in the region and offering university level entrepreneurship-related coursework
  3. In the planning stage: Entrepreneurship Development and Mentoring – a community outreach program
  4. In the planning stage: A Family-Business emphasis
