School of Business - Emporia State University

CBED Director

Dr. Bill

Hi, I'm "Dr. Bill," Bill Smith, that is.

Here at the School of Business , Center for Business and Economic Development (CBED), at Emporia State University , we are building our "Rural Entrepreneurship and Applied Technology" program. To do this we are working closely with the people in the Flint Hills region of the state, to gather your opinions and observations. Specifically, we are involved in the Flint Hills Tourism Coalition promoting experiential tourism as an economic development tool.

We are dedicated to increasing jobs in Kansas, and to assisting in keeping our young people in Kansas by growing our current businesses and creating or bringing in new ones.

Thank you for your help in this effort.

Dr. Bill ;-)
