About the Program
- This program is designed to prepare students to teach computer applications, keyboarding, accounting, personal finance, business law, and other subjects.
- During the past five years, numerous positions have been open for business and computer teachers in Kansas. Job openings from across the state are listed with ESU’s Careers Services Department. Job Fairs held on campus make it easy for business education students to personnel from a wide variety of public and private school districts in Kansas and other states.
- The student teaching experience is the last semester of the program and may be fulfilled in the Emporia area or at a school within 100 miles of Emporia.
