IMPORTANT CHANGES TO FEE PAYMENT - FALL 2008

Emporia State University is offering a new streamlined payment process to students, faculty and staff. Effective fall 2008, this process will replace the previous deferment and installment processes. These changes will allow students considerable additional flexibility in tailoring payments to their own financial circumstances. These changes affect ALL GRADUATE AND UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS.

-CHANGES TO TUITION POLICY FOR POST-BACCALAUREATE STUDENTS- Degree Program students Post-baccalaureate students seeking a graduate degree pay graduate tuition rates.  All tuition and fee charges listed on Page 1 of the Comprehensive Fee Schedule will apply to this group of students. Enrichment Program students (Certificate, Licensure or Non-Degree Seeking) Post-baccalaureate students who are not in a degree seeking program may apply through the Graduate application process for consideration of undergraduate tuition for courses numbered 100 – 499.  Courses numbered 500 and above will be charged at the graduate rates. The full-time tuition rate in the Fall and Spring semesters does not apply to these students.  All courses are charged by the credit hour regardless of the number of enrolled hours.

Extended Payment Agreement & Promissory Note

The Extended Payment Agreement allows for the extension of due dates for the payment of student educational account balances. The student is responsible for full payment of all tuition, fees and all other charges incurred by the dates set forth in this Agreement.
