Four-Year Suggested Sequence of Courses
B. S. in Biology with an Emphasis in Pre-Medical

This is a possible 4-year schedule for a biology major who is just entering ESU and wishes to apply to either medical or osteopathic schools. It ensures that you complete the general education and biology requirements, that you have enough hours (45) that are 300 or above, that you have enough total hours (124), and that the necessary mathematics, physics, and chemistry courses have been completed before taking the Medical College Admissions Test at the end of the junior year. There are several places in the schedule where substitutions can be made and these are indicated by footnotes. At least one General Education class must be a multicultural intensive section. While a shuffling of this schedule is possible, you should be forewarned that withdrawal from a class may extend the college experience beyond eight semesters.
