Four-Year Suggested Sequence of Courses
B. S. in Biology with an Environmental Biology Concentration

This is a possible 4-year schedule for a biology major just entering ESU. It ensures completion of the general education and biology requirements with the hours required to graduate (124), including 45 numbered 300 or above. Note that “Upper Division Biology Electives” must cover at least two of the three EB sub-areas (see EB Concentration summary sheet). At least 6 other hours of “Elective” must be > 300-level classes to meet the university graduation requirement of > 45 hours of upper division courses. There are several places in the schedule where substitutions can be made and these are indicated by footnotes. Note also that there are options for the Invert (invertebrate) and the math/statistics requirement. At least one General Education class must be a multicultural intensive section.
