" I had a wonderful experience at ESU.  I went in ready to tackle the set of classes assigned to acquire my degree, but along the way I learned and experienced so much more than the curriculum alone could offer.   I took advantage of the many field classes ESU had to offer.  The outdoor classroom made me realize hands on what a being a biologist could be like.  I gained inspiration through the passion each professor had for what they taught.  And the counseling I received from my advisor put me in just the right direction to have the skills necessary to land my first job.  Now, I truly enjoy the field I’ve entered and am proud to say I went to Emporia State University.
