Degree Check List
Bachelor of Science; Biology; Pre-Optometry
matriculation fall 2001 or later

Any substitutions must be approved by your advisor, and the Director of General Education, in the case of general education requirements, or the Chair of the Department of Biological Sciences, in the case of biology requirements. Every requirement must be completed for you to be ready to graduate. In addition, you need 124 total hours of which 40 hours must be 300 and above, you must take a multicultural intensive course (section number begins with a "M"), and you must either pass or get credit for the competency exams.

You might wish to print this degree check list and check off the courses as you complete them. These course meet the requirements for most optometry schools, however, the requirements among optometry schools do vary. It is your responsibility to look up the requirements of schools in which you are interested and insure yourself that you are meeting them.
