October 11, 2008-The #11 Hornet volleyball team hit .366 as a team on the way to their 19th straight match win in a 3-0 victory over Missouri Southern on Saturday night in White Auditorium.
Brittney Miller had 13 kills on .545 hitting while All-American Arica Shepard had 11 kills and 12 digs for the Hornets. Megan Koster added 10 kills on .556 hitting and Ting Liu dished 37 assists as ESU improved to 22-1 on the season and 8-0 in the MIAA.
The Hornets will be off until Friday night when they travel to Topeka to take on #8 Washburn. First serve of the volleyball edition of the Turnpike Tussle is set for 7 p.m. in WU's Lee Arena.
