ESU VOLLEYBALL FALLS TWICE AT MWSU RAMADA INN INVITATIONAL
August 31, 2007--Emporia State dropped two matches at the MWSU Ramada Inn Invitational on Friday in St. Joseph, Mo. The Hornets lost to Indianapolis in four games and fell to South Dakota in five games.
Arica Shepard had 16 kills and nine digs in the 30-26, 22-30, 20-30, 22-30 loss to Indianapolis and added 18 kills on .407 hitting in the 20-30, 30-28, 32-30, 24-30, 13-15 loss to undefeated South Dakota.
The Hornets, now 4-2 on the season, are back in action on Saturday against Ouachita Baptist and Cameron.
