ESU VOLLEYBALL OPENS UWF INVITE WITH A WIN
September 7, 2007--Emporia State won all three games over Alabama-Huntsville in their opening match at the West Florida Invitational in Pensacola, Florida. The Hornets won the first game by a score of 30-20 before rolling to 30-20 and 30-22 wins in games two and three.

Brianne Boner led the attack for the Hornets with nine kills to go along with nine blocks on the evening. Megan Koster had six kills and Mary Walczuk added five kills to go along with five blocks. Ting Liu came up with 22 assists on the evening and also had two kills and three blocks.

The Hornets will now face host West Florida in tonight 7:30 game. Tommorow they will play at 1 p.m. against #22 North Alabama and against at 7 p.m. against Southern Arkansas.
