ROSSBACH STILL RUNNING
June 12, 2008-Emporia State national champion Jonel Rossbach has continued competing with the Hornet uniform on this summer at the American Miler's Club High Performance Series this week in Indianapolis, Ind. The series is for professional athletes, with select collegiate athletes allowed entry.
She ran a 4:35.84 in the 1500 on Wednesday to finish behind former North Carolina State All-American and NC State record holder Jemissa Hess. On Monday she ran 2:14.28 to place tenth in the 800m.
The NCAA Division II national champion in the 5000m, Rossbach totaled seven All-American honors in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track during her career.
