Entries: Entries must be done ONLINE. Entries will be accepted beginning Tuesday, March 4, 2008 and must be declared by 7:00 pm Monday, March 10. Additions and changes may be made up until 7:00 pm, March 10. All Declarations are to be made on-line. All declarations are final as of 7:00 pm, March 10. Please follow these directions on time.
Schedule & Events: Only events scheduled will be conducted. This is a reduced event meet.

Confirmation: Coaches will be able to view the final roster on- line by 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 11. All entries are final on this date. Scratches after the declaration time must be emailed to dharris@emporia.edu.
Entry Limit: Unlimited entries, however, meet director has the authority to limit field to stay within time frame of meet. Coaches should be prepared to time athletes in distance events past 8 th place. Minimum standards for measurement of field event performances may be utilized, based on Junior College Qualifying marks. Only 4 jumps and 4 throws, no finals.
Entry Fee: $100.00 per team (men and women are separate) or $10.00 per athlete. Each team must also provide two workers for one event. Make checks payable to ESU Athletics. No unattached or open entries on team entry fee.
Check-In: Please pick up coaches packets (heat sheets, instructions, scratch form, etc.) in the north concession stand immediately upon arrival (no additions). A revised time schedule will be based on entry numbers. Pay entry fee when picking up packet. Unattached athletes will pick up numbers at north concession stand and pay entry fee there.
Weigh In:Throwing implements will be weighed in under the east stands. Weigh in will be from 9:45 am-11:30 am only. Bring all implements at one time; make sure implements are marked with school name
Awards: T-Shirts to 1st place competitors.
Facilities: A.T.G. Olympic polyurethane surface with eight 42" lanes. Jumping areas are all polyurethane; shot and discus areas are concrete; javelin area is polyurethane.
Spikes: 1/8" or 1/4" spikes only.
Scoring: Team scores will not be kept.
Results: Results will be available shortly after the conclusion of the meet at the north concession stand. Results can also be attained at the Emporia State Track & Field Web site.
Trainer: Trainers will be available during the meet to administer first aid. Please bring your own athletic tape and other necessary supplies.
Note:We have limited the schedule of events in this meet. For example, there are no 200M or 5,000M races. We ask that since the meet is on a Wednesday, teams help provide volunteer workers for events. This is a low key opener for the outdoor season. Weather cancellation will be done on-line at our website at 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 11 or 8:00 AM Wednesday, March 12. There will be no make up of this meet if canceled.
