ESU SWEEPS FRIENDS IN RESCHEDULED ACTION

March 31, 2009-The Emporia State men's and women's tennis teams swept Friends in Emporia in matches rescheduled from earlier this season. The Hornet women won 9-0 while the men took the dual by an 8-1 score.
The ESU women dropped just one game in doubles competition and only nine games in singles play. Amanda Morris, Michelle Barger, Emily Huston and Sheila Sarrafi all won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0.
The Hornet men's only loss was at #1 singles, where Ryan Harris fell in three sets.
ESU will begin a four match MIAA road trip on Friday when they travel to Northwest Missouri.
