November 24, 2009 -- Emporia State head coach John Cayton has announced the signing of Nicole Jara during the early signing period to attend ESU and play tennis for the Hornets. Complete Release

April 24, 2009-The Emporia State women's shut out Missouri Western 9-0 on Friday in Kansas City, Mo. The Hornet women and women will take on Truman in the first round of the MIAA Tournament on Saturday . The men will play at 10 a.m. with the women playing at 12:30 p.m. Box Score
