NEBRASKA-OMAHA WINS PITCHERS DUEL
May 8, 2008-Lindsey Slocum drove in pinch runner Alli Hukill on the only hit of the game for Neb.-Omaha in a 1-0 win over Minnesota State in the first round of the NCAA North Central Regional Softball Tournament in Emporia, Kan.
Both UNO's Beth Haley and MSU's Meagan Teal had no hitters going through the first four innings.
UNO will play at 3 p.m. on Friday against the winner of the Emporia State vs. Washburn game. MSU will take on the loser of the ESU and WU game at 10 a.m. on Friday.
