#11 ESU WINS ON FINAL DAY IN TEXAS
February 9, 2008-The #11 Emporia State softball team wrapped up their season opening weekend with a 5-2 win over Cameron at the CBS Insurance Classic hosted by Abilene Christian.
Jennifer Dace was two for three with three RBI while Miranda Campbell continued her hot start to the season going one for three with two RBI and a run scored.
Megan Dennis went the distance in the circle giving up two runs on six hits and striking out four.
The Hornets will return to Texas next weekend to take part in the Angelo State Tournament in San Angelo, Texas. ESU will take on the host #5 Angelo State during the tournament.
