CAMPBELL NAMED ALL-AMERICAN
May 21, 2009-Emporia State third baseman Miranda Campbell has been named to both the Louisville Slugger/NFCA and CoSIDA/Daktronics All-American teams. She was also named an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District performer. NFCA Release CoSIDA Release

ESU BOWS OUT OF NCAA TOURNEY
May 9, 2009-Emporia State fell twice on Saturday to bow out of the NCAA Division II South Central Regional-1 Tournament. The Hornets lost to the host Angelo State 13-12 in nine innings in a game that lasted 3:14 and then fell to Neb.-Omaha 5-3. Recap ASU Box Score UNO Box Score
