HORNET SOCCER FALLS ON THE ROAD AT NEBRASKA-OMAHA
October 8, 2009 -- The Emporia State soccer team was outshot 22-5 as they fell 5-0 to Nebraska-Omaha on the road. ESU got four shots on goal in the match as UNO scored in the 18th, 47th, 59th, 68th and 85th minutes in the match.
Amanda Miano had two shots on goal for the Hornets as was joined by Jessica Decker and Sarah Anderson who added one each. Nikki Schmitz finished with six saves on the night.
ESU will face Northwest Missouri on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 12 noon from Maryville, Mo.
