HORNET SOCCER FALLS 3-0 ON THE ROAD AT ROCKHURST
August 28, 2009 -- The ESU soccer team fell 3-0 on the road at Rockhurst on Friday night. The Hornets were outshot 16-4 as Katrina Goscha recorded four saves for ESU.
Jessica Decker, Ashley Hill, Holli Schletzbaum and Tina Commons all recorded shots for the Hornets. The Eagles got on the board first in the 26th minute, with their other two goals coming in the 68th and 88th minute.
ESU will travel to San Angelo, Texas for the Lone Star/MIAA crossover on Sept. 4-6 on the campus of Angelo State. ESU will face East Central in the opener at 2:00 p.m. on Sept. 4.
