HORNETS FALL TO MISSOURI SOUTHERN
October 2, 2008 -- The Hornet soccer team fell by a tally of 5-1 in their final game at ESU Pitch before playing the remainder of their home schedule at the TRYSA Complex. ESU got seven shots on goal and 13 shots total in the match.
Alicia Smith scored the only Hornet goal in the 77th minute of a pass from Alison Germany. Smith finished with two shot on goal and along with Marcie Fundis and Germany were the only ones with multiple shots.
ESU 3-7 will be back in action Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. against Nebraska-Omaha at the TRYSA Complex.
