HORNETS FALL ON SECOND HALF GOAL

October 26, 2008 -- The ESU soccer team fell 1-0 on a wind aided goal in the second half to #6 Central Missouri. The match had only seven shots in the first half as the two teams battled in nearly 50 mile per hour winds.
 
Jennifer Stillmock had eight saves for the Hornets with her only goal allowed coming on a wind aided shot from 20 yards out. Alison Germany, Alicia Smith and Raquel White all had shots on goal for ESU. Before the match seniors Caitlin Riemer, Shelley Marsh and Raquel White were honored as part of Hornet Senior Day.
 
The Hornets will now face Missouri Western on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. from St. Joseph, Mo.
